CAN ECONOKIT INCREASE MY FUEL CONSUMPTION ?
NOT AT ALL !
Econokit is made to decrease your fuel consumption but only in the same usage conditions.
But if you’re asking more to the engine (more charge, accelerations, speed, sporty driving), fuel consumption could go even higher than before fixing the Econokit system.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE NO SAVINGS ?
In some case like very low charge rate, no regulation system (droop > 5%), savings could be insignificant.

MY VEHICLE CONSUMES AS MUCH AS BEFORE, WHY ?
Check up:
- The water level in the bubbler
- The cap of the water tank should be well tighten
- A good bubbling effect (before 2000 rpm on diesel engine)
- The reactor is still in place on the exhaust manifold
- There are no deteriorated or cracked silicone hoses.
To compare consumptions before and after fixing the Econokit system, you must use your engine in the same conditions.
It is of course easier to do the comparison with a genset than with a moving vehicle as the driving situations and behaviours can never be always exactly the same ...
The fuel consumption could stay the same if you use the better engine efficiency given by Econokit for faster accelerations and time savings.

Yes, thanks to the combustion's improvement.
WHAT IS THE AVERAGE SAVINGS ON FUEL BILL ?
Depending on many factors each installation will give different results.
Econokit has been tested on Turbo Diesel engine sedan FIAT by BUREAU VERITAS in France under a normal charge rate of 33% and the results on Diesel consumption was - 27%.
All other the world we have noticed since 2011 an average of fuel savings of 15% on car, bus, truck, and an average of 18% on generator, boat, heavy machinery and farm equipment under heavy loads.
WHICH OTHER SAVINGS CAN I GET FROM ECONOKIT ?
Econokit is not only saving fuel and pollution by improving fuel combustion but it also cleans the engine.
The cleaning of the engine has also a direct effect on your maintenance bill. The engine oil is not getting black so quickly and therefore you dont need to change the oil so often.
As the inside engine is more clean there will be less frictions which leads to less wear of the engine and less mechanical problems. So the maintenance cost as well as the lifespan of the engine will greatly increase.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PAYBACK MY ECONOKIT SYSTEM ?
Each installation will of course give different results on fuel reduction but the key answer to this question will be given by the time you are running your engine.
For example to give you one idea:
For a BUS running everyday around 350 kms with an average of only 10% fuel savings
it could take around 3 months only to payback the full Econokit system cost.
For a 50 KVA GENSET running 4 hours daily with an average of 15% fuel savings
if could take around 7 months only to payback the full Econokit system cost.
For a 125 KVA GENSET running 4 hours daily with an average of 15% fuel savings
it could take around 4 months only to payback the full Econokit system cost.
KEEPING IN VIEW THAT THE LIFESPAN OF THE ECONOKIT IS 50 YEARS

DOES MY MAXIMUM SPEED INCREASE WITH ECONOKIT ?
This is not the main aim and it’s not advised to do it.
Thanks to the better engine efficiency, the maximum speed is reached faster.
This improvement allows you to save fuel by pressing less than before the accelerator pedal to reach the same speed.
The increase in engine torque will allow you to use higher gear position which will also brings fuel savings.
